Introduction

This hot tub was already in place when we bought the house.  This is the initial state when we acquired it.

Yes, there is a hot tub under there.
Yes, there IS a hot tub under there.

Largely ignored.  At least for the last few years. The cover was not even on it.

The access panels were not installed and the gazebo was crumbling.

Underneath the partially installed cover was a bunch of leaves, sticks and mud.  In Oklahoma, dust blows around and things like this will fill up with dust over time.

We pondered long and hard about the gazebo, but structurally, it is unsafe and needs to be replaced, repaired or just torn down.  We are at odds about having one at all.  In either case, this one has to go.

The first look under the hot tub exposed broken lines and all sorts of things covered up by the sands of time.

This was actually built in Oklahoma.  Country Leisure is still in business, but the no longer manufacture hot tubs.  The are just a reseller these days.

We may not have to tear this down.  Give it a little time and it will fall down on its own.
